Hello guys Now a good news for those candidates who interested in law courses here we are , As we know There is a lawyer who acts as a judge for us. So we can say Lawyer is very important for our life. So lets us know how to become Lawyer ?
The First thing We should know what qualifications to be an advocate or lawyer.
Qualification for Lawyer :-

1. For the five-year course of education, it is mandatory for you to be twelfth and after the twelfth exam, the Common Law Admission Test is done. It is mandatory to get admission only after passing it. It is mandatory to pass 12th or undergraduate 50% marks in this examination.

2. Students can choose the three year old or five-year Bachelor degree course of study as per their wish. This is followed by the Common Law Admission Test, which gets admission only after passing it. It is compulsory to graduate in the three year course of law.

The student should have specialization in specialized field like Corporate Law, Patent Law, Criminal Law, Cyber ​​Law, Family Law, Banking Law, Tax Law, International Law, Labor Law, Real Estate Law etc. while doing BA, LLB. So that in order to advocate for the same special subject further.

* LLB is the most common degree of law education. The LLB takes the 3 year as the duration of the course



  • Integrated undergraduate degrees – B.A. LL.B., B.Sc. LL.B., BBA LLB, B.Com LL.B – 5 years
  • One who wishes to do the integrated course can take the admission in 5 year integrated programme after the completion of 10+2 exams.
  • Master of Laws (LL.M.) – one/two years
LLM is the master degree in legal education having one or two-year duration. It has been started in India before 2012.
  • Master of Business Law
The MBL is the master degree in legal education with the specialization in business law having one or two-year duration.
  • Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)
There is a good prospect for PhD after the legal education. Most of the highly reputed autonomous institution provides the PhD programmes.
  • Integrated MBL-LLM/ MBA-LLM – 3years
One who wishes to do the integrated course with business specialization can go for the MBL-LLM or MBA-LLM. It is a 3 year degree programme after the completion of the LLB.

Admission in Law education

The students, who wish to get the admission in law, have to appear in CLAT 2020 (Common Law Admission Test). CLAT is conducted for admission to National Law Universities (NLUs) and various other institutions. Through CLAT, students are admitted in Integrated L.L.B and L.L.M courses.
Student can go for law courses with any stream (Science stream/ Commerce stream / Arts stream) in 12th.
BCI provides “Certificate of Practice” to the  candidates after completing LL.B. To practice in the profession of law and to receive certificate, it is mandatory for the candidates to qualify All India Bar Examination (AIBE 2020).
Students who wish to pursue law courses from foreign Universities/institutions can apply for LSAT 2020. The admission in the Jindal Law Global School is done through the LSAT (Law School Admission Test) conducted by the Law School Admission Council, USA.

Scope after law:-

After getting a Bachelor degree in Law, LLM and PhD can also be done. After this, application for judiciary can be applied for making judges.
Nowadays, multinational companies keep good packaging lawyers for the necessary tasks. Apart from this, due to the arrival of big law firms and attractive salaries of India and abroad, the trend of students has increased towards education.

1. Faculty of Law, University of Delhi - This is India's best university to do the law. The number is the first leg in terms of ranking.
2. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi - This institute is located in Old Delhi. This is also a very good institution for law.
3. Ali Garh Muslim University - This university is located in Uttar Pradesh and is a famous institute in India with study vision.
4. National Law University, Jodhpur - This university is located in Rajasthan and is an excellent institution for law.
